Poland to reduce BLIK cash withdrawal limit at Euronet ATMs: what will change

10.png The Euronet ATM network in Poland is introducing a new limit for cash withdrawals using BLIK. The changes will come into force on February 19, 2026, and will apply to all Euronet Polska devices. We explain what exactly is changing and who will be affected.

What is the new BLIK cash withdrawal limit

From February 19, 2026, it will be possible to withdraw a maximum of 200 PLN per single transaction using a BLIK code at Euronet ATMs. Previously, this limit was 800 PLN. The restriction will apply until further notice by the company and will cover:

  • Euronet Polska ATMs;
  • cash devices belonging to this network.

At the same time, the new limit does not apply to bank ATMs operated by Euronet that carry the logo of a specific bank.

Why Euronet is reducing the limit

The company explained the decision by the increase in the cost of processing BLIK transactions. According to Euronet, ATM operators in Poland incur costs for such transactions that are higher than the compensation they receive. The statement notes that reducing the limit to 200 PLN is necessary to limit financial losses associated with these transactions. The company emphasized that:

  • it does not charge fees for cash withdrawals via BLIK;
  • it does not change other rules regarding withdrawals or deposits;
  • it remains open to dialogue with market participants and regulators.

Does anything change for customers

Important: the new limit applies only to a single BLIK withdrawal transaction at Euronet ATMs. Other conditions of using BLIK remain unchanged. This means that customers who need to withdraw a larger amount can:

  • perform several transactions in a row (taking into account their own bank limits);
  • use an ATM of their bank;
  • choose an alternative method of withdrawing funds.
